AMDD aims the prompt and appropriate introduction of advanced medical technologies in medical practice, evaluation of innovation, and suitable distribution of medical expenses. To achieve these goals, the institute’s mission is to conduct research from a mid-to-long-term perspective and provide policy recommendations for medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), and other medical technologies to make greater contributions to Japanese medical care.
AMDD maintains a close collaborative relationship with our stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and seeks to give recommendations on how medical devices and IVD can make greater contributions to Japanese medical care. We greatly appreciate your kind support.
